Today I'm in Mendocino. It's a tiny town on the Northern California coast, set on a small peninsula and surrounded by water on three sides. When I say water I mean huge crashing ocean. It's incredible. It seems that everyone that lives here is an artist or a hippy. Or both. Lots of beards. My cousin Elena is an artist here and I'm staying with her at the Art Centre.
Unfortunately no wifi so can't really post photos, so maybe tomorrow I'll go find a starbucks or something with free wifi and post lots of pictures.
Hi Natalie, have loved your posts, its like reading a realtime Bill Bryson book. Keep writing. Steve Gorridge xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Steve! It's great out here, I highly recommend it. Have you played golf with garry yet?? xx
DeleteHi Natalie, sadly no golf as haven't been back to UK since end of the Games. Besides I am a fairweather golfer and it hasn't stopped raining in France since I got back. The locals are trying to have me deported as apparently I am a wicked rain-god and I have ruined their crop of sunflowers this year. Steve xx
